Two brand new songs from Maxine Funke,, a follow-up to last year's River Said album. Beautiful homemade recordings made with voice, acoustic guitar and organ, containing lyrical vignettes worthy of the best prose stylists - "my Saturdays are a mystical realm" is a mantra to haunt your day-to-day.

Originally issued as a lathe single by London based record shop World Of Echo in December 2023. The lathe sold out within an hour so we’re now making the tracks more widely available. The days of being able to sell 500 7”s by an underground artist are long gone, but just letting these exist in the void of indifferent music streaming sites felt like a disservice to the music, so we’ve produced a booklet to accompany the release - A6, 24 pages, stapled, printed on recycled uncoated 135gsm stock with 350gsm colour cover. Contains lyrics, an insightful interview with Maxine, bird sketches by Clayton Noone, and some notes from Disciples. First printing of 50 copies.
